EXPLORER MARKS 25 YEARS OF CRUISING

Built by Meyer Werft at Papenberg, Germany, the cruise ship Century made her debut for Celebrity Cruises in 1995. She was the first mega-cruise ship built for the company, and the lead ship of a trio of near sisterships. Her siblings, the slightly larger Galaxy and Mercury, followed over the next two years.
