In your recent article (issue 449) regarding the change for younger drivers concerning trailer weight, nowhere is it mentioned that this only applies to Great Britain, not the whole of the UK.
Drivers like myself in Northern Ireland will still have to undergo a B+E test in order to tow a combined weight over 3500kg.
I wonder how many drivers in Northern Ireland are unaware this is the case, and what the implications will be for drivers from Great Britain, visiting Northern Ireland, whose physical licences have not yet been updated to
