She was a young mum who had lost her way, but Kelli Kramer was turning her life around.

Kelli, 31, adored her nineyear-old son Aiden, but while she’d struggled with addictions, he’d gone to live with her parents.

But by 2018, Kelli was back on track and Aiden was living with her again at her apartment in Burlington, Kentucky – they were a family.

Kelli was holding down a steady job at a local Starbucks and life was looking up.

Aiden was a straight-A student, who was always smiling and friends with everyone. He was close to his grandparents, but he was loving being with his mum.

Kelli was focusing on parenting, but
