Making her way around her home with crutches, life isn’t easy for Zoe, 30.
She has a progressive condition called fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP).
It causes muscle tissues and tendons to be replaced by bone, growing outside the skeleton.
‘Your body is slowly turning to stone and you’re frozen, like a statue. It completely, slowly, takes away your mobility,’ Zoe explains.
