Did you do anything specific to make this Batman different?
It’s difficult. There’ve been, I think, 10 or so movies of and it’s not like there’s been 10 duds. There’s been 10 really good interpretations of it [laughs]. I was somewhat conscious, or maybe I was just nervous going into it, going, “Oh, I can’t go down the same route.” Because they’re so specific, all the different interpretations. Also, it’s quite fun to try and find a gap which you feel hasn’t been done. But it’s in the script… it’s a very different tone to the other movies, so it came naturally.
