THE BOY WHO WOULD BE KING

CHAPTER 1

Once upon a time, in a time of great nations, but not countries as we know them now, there was a little boy destined to be a great king. His name was Kosi. He prayed three times a day, and read the Bible every day. His best friend was Astronomy, who was known as Astro.

One day when Astro was praying, there was a loud knocking on her bedroom door. When she opened it, Kosi was standing right there, panting.

“He is after me!” he said frantically.

“Who?”

“Agreatwa!” Kosi pushed his way into the room to hide under her bed.

“Who is Agreatwa?” Astro questioned. As if on queue, a tall, angry looking boy holding a spear-like branch appeared in Astro’s doorway. She turned to him, “Agre?” She said to the boy with a snarl on his face.

“Where is he!?” Agre asked, scanning
