2020, the pandemic year, also marked the 75th anniversary of the VE Day. British Youth Music Theatre (BYMT), the UK’s leading musical theatre company for young people, was planning to stage a new devised musical “The Night The War Ended” celebrating the biggest party in history on the 8 of May 1945 on the streets of London.
