While 2020 and most of 2021 has been chaotic where weddings are concerned, the Spring/Summer Wedding season is finally here and it looks like Covid may be taking a back seat. While we keep our fingers crossed that Level One will remain in place long enough for the postponed weddings to finally take place, we took some time to chat to Sunelle van den Berg and Margaux van den Berg from Blank Canvas, one of Cape Town’s foremost luxury wedding co-ordinators, to see what trends are emerging in the new season.

Pre-Covid, many of our clients came in from overseas but with borders closing and all the other worldwide limitations on travel in place, we had no new bookings for almost a year.
