CALL ATTENTION

It seems like only yesterday 1965!

Following my features on the Midland & South Western Junction Railway (December 2021) and the Hemyock branch (January 2022), I have in mind a number of branch lines and secondary routes to write about in future issues of Steam World.

You’ll find the latest, the Fairford branch, in this issue, starting on page 46.

This one was a walk down Memory Lane, particularly as it was written over the Christmas break, which is the one time of year that we can all be guaranteed to look back and remember times past, friends and family, and the events that shaped us.
