You will need

Surface

• Smooth watercolour paper. One of my favourites is Canson Cold-pressed watercolour paper, available in pads. I like the 9x12in. size

Drawing media

• HB pencil

• Micron or other fine liner pen. I like the.005 size

Watercolour

A selection of colours. For this project I used Winsor & Newton tube watercolour:

• Cadmium yellow

• French ultramarine blue

• Naples yellow

• Sap green

• Winsor red

Miscellaneous

• Eraser

• Tracing paper, if desired

• Drawing paper (I use printer paper)

• Watercolour brushe Nos. 2, 4 & 8 or 10

• Scissors and glue stick

• Reference
