It’s time for a good clean-up

I am continually surprised by the number of people who think work on a shoot stops on 1 February, when nothing could be further from the truth.

The end of the shooting season may mean there is less organising to do, but there is more to do in a physical sense than there is in January, when everything is in place and fairly routine. Our priorities post-shooting season are the topping up of the feeders and, of course, keeping on top of the tidying up.
