These exotic fruits are not just for those in tropical and subtropical locations; with the right microclimate, you can have a crack at growing some of them even in warm temperate and cooler zones.
Creating a microclimate for heat-loving plants in a colder climate will probably be a lot easier than creating a cool microclimate in a warmer location.
You can replicate the higher temperatures and humidity by use of a greenhouse. Even the reflected heat from a northfacing brick wall can help create a warmer spot.

Rollinia’s creamy-white, melt-in-the-mouth flesh tastes like lemon sherbet or lemon meringue pie. Closely related to the custard apple, it’s commonly known as Amazon custard apple. In Brazil it’s called biribá and other names include wild sweetsop, lemon meringue pie fruit and wild sugar-apple.
Origin: Amazon regions.
Height: Backyard specimens 5–6m.
Pollination: Requires high humidity.
