STUDENT debt is regarded as “good debt” because it’s for something that can potentially improve your financial wellbeing. You may, for example, be studying towards a qualification that will get you a good job and decent income, or doing extra courses that will lead to a promotion or a better salary. Still, it’s debt that mounts and must be paid.
