Kawasaki Frontale aim for three in a row

he 2022 J.League season kicks off on February 18 with Kawasaki Frontale again the team to beat after finishing 13 points clear at the top of the table last campaign and securing their fourth J.League title in five seasons. Kawasaki did this in spite of losing three national team players – Hidemasa Morita, Kaoru Mitoma and Ao Tanaka – to European clubs before and during last season, and still finished the year with seven players in the J.League’s Best XI.
