Auburn Auction Park sold

AUBURN, Ind._ According to an article posted by www.kpcmedia.com on Jan. 25, the sale of RM Auctions’ Auburn Auction Park property in Auburn, Ind., has been completed. The buyer of the property plans to convert the property to a youth sports complex.

The first collector car auction held in Auburn (some argue the first such auction held anywhere) was over Labor Day Weekend in 1971. Eventually, auctioneer Dean Kruse received approval from the city of Auburn to open the “Auburn Auction Park” in 1988 as a dedicated auction space.
