This self-clinging creeper (Parthenocissus quinquefolia) makes for a lush wall covering with its large, deep green leaves that turn orange and red in autumn. Extensive coverage means the creeper, which can grow up to 20m in height, has a cooling effect. To cover large horizontal areas, plant more than one at least 2m apart.
