Moving in with my partner Shaun, 20, everything felt right.
I was 18, and we’d found a two-storey Queenslander in the family-friendly suburb of Redland Bay on the outskirts of Brisbane.
The only thing left to do was create a family of our own. So a year later, we adopted an eight-week-old ginger kitten, who we named Cheetah.
