I have a stash of records from my parents from the ’70s and ’80s. Iwas so lucky to have parents who were constantly playing music in the house. These are definitely records I grew up listening to and I love listening to them again. They remind me of my childhood.

This was my grandma’s. I don’t know the story behind it but I’ve always loved it – although, I’ve never actually worn it because I feel like it’s too precious and delicate. It normally hangs on my wall.

mug

This belongs to the same grandma. It has all these funny, silly little gardening puns on it and it’s just my favourite mug. All my memories of my grandma involve running around her garden, looking for fairies and having cups of tea. I love gardening now, too; you have to be patient and just keep tending to it. It’s like any creative process: it’s about persistence and putting continued energy into something. There’s no end›point; it’s just a thing you keep doing.
