The world may know Aubrey Plaza as the high priestess of deadpan comedy, always ready with a cutting remark or disdainful eye roll, but the actor/ comedian has had a secret ambition burning inside of her. “I’ve always wanted to be in an action film,” she admits over Zoom from San Francisco. “I grew up very athletic. I was always playing sports. It’s not something that I ever thought would actually happen. But it’s definitely something that I’ve always dreamed of.” She didn’t just want to make people laugh, she wanted to indulge her inner Sarah Connor.
