he championship has been something of a roller-coaster ride for Wales since it expanded to six teams. In terms of Grand Slams, they are the most successful team over the past two decades, with four clean sweeps (2005, 2008, 2012, 2019), and they also won titles in 2013 and 2021. At the other end of the spectrum, there has been a wooden spoon in 2003 as well as five fifth-place finishes.
