Wales have won more Grand Slams – four – since the championship expanded to six than any other country, but perhaps the most significant was in 2005 when Wales completed a first clean sweep since 1978. It started with Gavin Henson’s penalty delivering an 11-9 victory over England and finished with tries from Gethin Jenkins and Kevin Morgan against Ireland at a raucous Millennium Stadium.
