FILLING THE COFFERS Harrogate Pythons may be in Yorkshire Three but they’re in the premier league in terms of raising money from a tried-and-trusted club dinner format. Chairman and organiser Julian Tatlow said: “We make £12-15k on average, have five or six main sponsors to fund the speakers and the tables ‘sell themselves’. This annual event is the club’s main source of income, other than membership fees, so we get some high-calibre speakers to fill the room with diners.
