The weekend after the 81st Pioneer Run was the October Stafford show (so held over October 9/10, 2021) and with events teetering on a knife edge due to the pandemic, I was glad that this one was able to go ahead.

The October Stafford show has a later remit than the April happening in terms of its entries, with autumn machines mostly dating from the 1960s to the 1980s, which is a period I'm still learning a lot about. My weekend spent in the halls of Stafford showground proved educational and fruitful, with some interesting machines in attendance. Each example sketched at this show has given me an insight into both the motorcycle industry
