Service please! Vespa GTS service Pt1

My Vespa GTS is ridden all year round and I knew mine was heading into filters and belt change territory. In a rare act of forward planning I decided that this should be done before winter set in. I would rather do it in the warmth before winter set in, than in the middle of February with frozen fingers.

Unfortunately I’d no idea where to start; give me a PX or a Cosa and I’ll happily strip it blindfolded but the four-stroke GTS is a thing of mystery. Luckily Phil ‘Dr Kitch’ Kitchen was on hand to point the way forward while I took photos and notes.
