Here is a photograph of a rather majestic owl who posed beautifully for me at a wonderful zoo near Lake Garda. Although he already has wonderfully coloured plumage, I wanted to intensify these colours even more — and what better way to do it than in a Brusho painting! The challenge lay in using the Brusho to depict the soft underbody and face feathers, and the more textured body and wing feathers.
