You will need

• Kneaded eraser and Tombow Mono Zero eraser

• Soft graphite pencils, 2B and 4B (Tombow Mono pencils are excellent)

• Grumbacher final fixative for dry media

• Drawing paper

DRAWING PAPER

Any sketchbook or drawing pad is fine for these exercises. Sketch paper is thin so is applicable for sketching only. Buy inexpensive practice paper, such as Strathmore Drawing, medium surface, for general drawing. If you wish to create a more finished look in sketches, pick drawing paper with thicker pages. Drawing papers are able to withstand lots of erasing and layering unlike sketch papers. My suggestion would be Stonehenge, Canson, Strathmore or Koh-I-Noor Bristol Vellum papers for refined, professional, or commissioned drawings. Bristol vellum surface is preferred, because it
