Corgi, although a relative newcomer, is remembered primarily as the company that put windows, opening doors and suspension in its cars, but it also produced many fine tractors - notably MF or Ford. These were popular marques with farmers, so by carefully studying the market, this company quickly acquired the reputation for having fresh, modern products, unlike Dinky who seemed content to plug away with well-proven but ageing designs.
