I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: As far as I am concerned, the PGA Tour is an amazing organisation.

That fact would make it hard for anyone who is a member and fully exempt to sign up for anything that might jeopardise the status quo. Which begs a question: Is the prospect of a rival Saudi Arabia-based Tour going to do just that?

If I were still playing the PGA Tour full-time, that is what would be going through my mind right now. If I were sure that any new circuit would not harm the PGA Tour, I would obviously consider playing there. But if it was going to endanger my ability to continue as a member of the PGA Tour, I would have big reservations, because
