Wilier’s new-for-2022 Garda aims to be the entry point into the world of its ‘endurance’ bikes. Though, not unusually for an Italian bike with endurance aspirations, the Garda’s gemoetry is at the racy end of the geometry spectrum.

Some of the Garda’s endurance flavour does come through in the frame’s details, though. The sharply dropped and flattened seatstays promise compliance and you won’t find the Garda’s generous 32mm of tyre clearance on Wilier’s range-topping racers.
