Assessing Lotus number-two drivers in the 1960s can be tricky. Jim Clark was understandably the focus of Colin Chapman’s Formula 1 squad, not to mention the fact that anyone alongside the Scot was being compared to one of motorsport’s greats.
That’s why works on those lesser-known drivers are so welcome. Richard Jenkins’s second book, is one such. The author says he is, is certainly worthy of the treatment.
