THE Grand National might one day come calling for Warwick’s £100,000 Agetur UK Ltd Classic Handicap winner Eclair Surf but, according to trainer Emma Lavelle, not until he has ironed out his once-a-race jumping blip.
The eight-year-old, owned by Dominic Burke and Tim Syder, made virtually all the running under Tom Bellamy, in his first season as stable jockey to Lavelle, to beat Gericault Roque by 13 lengths.
