Düvelsdorf Terra-Roller with knife roller: Cutting edge rolls

Five years ago, Düvelsdorf debuted the combination of its GreenRake Expert mounted grass harrow and the Terra-Roller trailed rolls. Two years later, we praised the two-machine configuration in our 12/2018 practical test, and at the time we thought and wrote that there was potential for even more versatility.

The engineering team behind the roller clearly had the same idea, because last year it added a couple of handy ‘Pre-tool’ options, a paddle levelling board and, perhaps more interestingly, a knife roller. Kitted out with the latter, the roller combination is aimed at chopping and shredding crop residue with the added option of establishing a catch crop.
