1275 rebuild to 1380cc

I have a Mini that was fitted with a 1275 engine 20 years ago. The engine now needs a rebuild and I am wondering what engine capacity would be best to go for when I have it rebored? Is it worth increasing to 1330cc or perhaps 1380cc? As far as I am aware the engine is original capacity and
