On a hot, sticky day in Kune, Rembarrnga Dalabon woman Cindy Rostron, from the Bonngu clan, gracefully leaps onto a partially submerged boulder, the surrounding gum trees and marshmallow clouds reflected in the dark motionless creek. It is the Kudjewk season in West Arnhem Land, or the Top End’s build-up, when(clouds) form. It is 7am and the fierce morning sun is already making the atmosphere languorous and sultry.
