More GO-GO for the GASGAS

If I was put on the spot and asked what I thought was the first standard part that people rip off their new motorcycles and replace with aftermarket versions was, I would definitely say it’s the muffler. You only need to take notice at the next race meeting you attend or look at the majority of bikes you see on your next trail ride. I’ll bet not many of them are rocking standard exhaust systems.

WHY IS THIS THE CASE?

Well the muffler/exhaust system is the easiest part on a motorcycle for riders, with minimal mechanical skills or knowledge, to mess with. Generally they are only held on with three springs and three bolts, making them not a very intimidating part on a motorcycle to be removed or re-fitted again.
