MICROACES PERCEE
Conceived and designed by Jon Porter and longtime business partner and engineer Simon Barr, the Percee, like all Microaces aircraft, is a highly detailed foam kit. Closely patterned after the Percival Q6 Petrel of the mid 1930s, the Percee is available as either the Militair in prewar RAF liaison and communication livery or as the Debonair, an interpretation of a 1930s airliner. For this review, I chose the whimsical phantom livery of the Debonair.
This stand-off scale model kit marks the introduction of the first Microaces twin-motored aircraft and the first use of Dupont Tyvek in a commercial model aircraft kit.
