Recurrent infections are common, especially urinary infections and cellulitis. On seeing your GP with a recurrent infection, they’ll consider whether any chronic conditions affect your response to infection, particularly diabetes. There are also rarer conditions that affect immunity – such as primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders.
