Hits and misses

As we embark on a new year I like to reflect on how our pigeon shooting outings have gone over the previous 12 months.

Bags were generally average to good, with the occasional red-letter day mixed with inevitable disappointments. As always, certain fields seemed to produce better-than-average bags, regardless of the crop growing on them.
