Get moving in 2022

If exercising regularly has never been part of your life, or you’ve fallen out of the habit in recent years, the New Year brings a fresh opportunity to get moving. The evidence couldn’t be clearer that it’s one of the very best things we can do for our wellbeing.

Exercise can boost mood and energy levels, help us shed excess body fat and reduce our risk of major illnesses such as heart disease, stroke, Type-2 diabetes and cancer. Research even shows that physical activity can boost our self-esteem and sleep quality, as well as helping to ward off stress, depression, Alzheimer’s and dementia. And it’s brilliant for fortifying our bones too.
