Some of you might have even visited the place, as he organizes an annual open house during a vintage Volkswagen-oriented weekend, which ends with the Kelley Park show in San Jose. He owns a vast range of air-cooled models, dominated by low-mileage and rare examples, such as a Schwimmwagen and a just-finished 1950 Barndoor. The latest was found by his good friend Ray Schubert, a key character in our story as he maintains Mark’s vehicles and has restored several of them
