TRIUMPH
I was interested to read Roland Brown’s feature on Triumph’s 30th anniversary of resuming motorbike production. I visited the Hinckley factory last year and was impressed by the state-of-the-art facility. It was great to watch newly-built bikes roll off the production line.
Like many other people, I was disappointed to hear that Triumph is moving the remaining production of all but a few factory custom bikes to Thailand. I can’t imagine that the limited Hinckley production will be sufficient to justify retaining such a large factory, even allowing for expansion of the R and D department. I understand that
