Happy new year! Here’s to a fresh 12 months ahead of us, filled with meals we haven’t eaten yet, new ingredients still to sample and cakes we are still to bake.

After the past couple of bumpy years, I feel hopeful for what lies ahead. Those events that couldn’t take place should now be back in full swing, and I’m excited about a more representative world of food publishing with a better mix of cookbooks due out this year.

So let’s brace ourselves for the ride, and start planning a fun and food-filled year.
