Longing for days when less is more

I should like to tell you about my last three shooting days, which may raise one or two points of interest. The first of them days was at Forest Hall, near Kendal.

Those of you who have followed my ramblings over the years will know that Forest Hall is a rough and ready sort of shoot. We put down ex-layers, which hold reasonably well. We stand one and walk one. Most of us have shot together for years, we enjoy each other’s company and we enjoy the chance of a bird or two in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of a Forest Hall shooting day.
