SMART CHARGING UPDATE

Q: I just finished reading the Ask Ray column in the November 2021 issue ( HMM #219). I encountered a problem similar to Wayne’s in the “Smart Charging” question. I have owned a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado with the 350 engine for about 15 years. About five years ago, I noticed the voltmeter was indicating less than the normal charging level.
