For many, there is something wonderfully predictable about Christmas; the unchanging clichés, unfaltering formalities, gaudy seasonal jumpers and, of course, Christmas dinner. Many of us revel in these festive rituals and wouldn’t have it any other way. Retail chain Lidl’s 2021 Christmas campaign, entitled Always, taps into that and transports its loveable cast members into future Christmases in a humorous and visually exciting way, ending with a perpetual promise from the retailer: they will always be Lidl on price.
