A new release in 1/50 scale is a diecast and plastic Komatsu WA475-10 [6] with an RRP of £69. There are no opening parts but it has a functioning front bucket and support arms. Komatsu was founded in the 1920s by entrepreneur Meitaro Takeuchi near Komatsu City in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The WA475-10 wheel loader is fitted with Komatsu Hydraulic Mechanical Transmission and has an operating weight of 56,240lb.
