Bespoked was conceived by Stroudbased frame builder Phil Taylor who, in 2009, having built his own bike, wondered why there wasn’t a handmade bike show in the UK to rival NAHBS, the North American Handmade Bike Show, so that British builders could showcase their wares and share ideas. So alongside his wife Tessa, he set about organising one, and they created the first show in Bristol in 2011.
