Alde fluid changing & fitting a TMV

THE ETHYLENE GLYCOL-based antifreeze and coolant in the Alde heating system has a serviceable lifespan. The blue fluid should be changed every two years, and the magenta fluid every five.

This is because the corrosion inhibitors only remain fully effective for the stipulated times, and the last thing you’d want is corrosion anywhere in the heating system.

The good news is that the blue fluid can be replaced by the magenta. This is something that might well be provided by a dealership, and I know of some caravanners who have done a DIY job on it,
