DAVID ADDISON: TAKING IN THE BEST OF THE MOTORSPORT SEASON
It’s been a funny season. Dates changed, events moved (some for the better) and some became off-limits as the Covid saga dragged on. Tests to fly, tests to release, tests to do something else all added to the usual admin of a season… The hangover of the lockdown in 2020 was the proliferation of esports categories which made the start of the season very busy – all from the comfort of my Cheshire home. Once things did get moving, 2021 was the usual whirlwind of circuits, commentary boxes, hotels and airports.
Picking a highlight is tough, but MN editor Matt James asked me to reflect on some of the more memorable moments of the 12 months just gone.
