DELECTABLE BITES
MUSHROOM SLIDERS
These delicious meat-free mini-burgers are finger-licking good. Prepare the rolls, mushroom patties and sauce beforehand and assemble just before serving.

ROLLS
500g store-bought bread dough flour for rolling 1 egg, beaten 15ml (1T) black sesame seeds (optional)
MUSHROOM PATTIES
30ml (2T) milk 4 slices brown bread, cubed 5ml (1t) coriander seeds 15ml (1T) olive oil 2 onions, chopped 500g mixed mushrooms 2 garlic cloves, chopped salt and freshly ground pepper grated zest of 1 lemon handful fresh parsley 1 egg, beaten 60ml (¼c) flour oil for frying
HERB SAUCE
250ml (1c) plain yoghurt 60ml (¼c) mayonnaise 125ml (½c) fresh coriander 60ml (¼c) fresh parsley 2 garlic cloves juice of 1 lemon pinch of salt
TO FINISH
butter for spreading mixed herbs of choice
